RENT means to pay for the use of sth, you are not the owner of - WYNAJĄĆ OD KOGOŚ

RENT is also a noun - an amount of  money you pay regularly for using a house, flat or office that belongs to someone else. - CZYNSZ


e.g. I am looking for a flat to rent.]

I pay the rent every month.

 

You LET when you are the owner and allow sb to use it in return for money - WYNAJĄĆ KOMUŚ

e.g. A room to let.
